Sex World

Sex World is a 1977 classic from director Anthony Spinelli, and is more than just a quickie rip-off of Westworld, the mainstream science fiction rage in the '70s. Sex World is a big sex picture, with a grand scope and richly developed characters. We follow a busload of people to a high-tech sex therapy center. Spinelli doesn't go for cheap thrills and laughs. He tries to get under the skin of the various people who go there to deal with their sexual hang ups and erotic fantasies. Sex problems concern frigid wives, dull marriages, orgies, guys who can't get hard and a woman who has a thing for Johnny Keys. Everyone and everything is monitored by a huge computer which deducts their deepest sexual fantasies, and a team of white-coated technicians, (headed by Annette Haven) who supervise the boning.
