House Of Desire

Considering how the camera pans around a cityscape before choosing each subsequent dwelling, this production should have been named Houses Of Desire. Or, to be completely accurate, various apartments and one barn of desire. Not that location matters all that much. As European sexfests go, House Of Desire is on par with the rest - attractive, explicit, and relatively emotionless. There are no surprises, but its merits are plentiful. Each enigmatic performer represents a fine specimen of their gender. Carousing around on hand-carved antiques, they release bodily juices likely to give porn mavens solid wood. The hottest sequences occur like a set of bookends. In the opener, a Mariel Hemingway-esque blonde is thoroughly reamed in the morning glow of bedside sunshine, while the noirish barnstorming closer reveals a brunette with considerable oral skills. Neither of these scenes will be remembered for eternity, but they work quite nicely in the present.
