Fresh Meat 18: Go Ahead Jerk Off! (R18)

John Leslie hasn't directed a story film in some time, which is regrettable, but his Fresh Meat series has filled the gap to a certain extent. The vignettes in Fresh Meat 18 are like scenes ripped from larger works. Swiftly, and with no dialogue, Leslie establishes a context, enigmatic but arresting, for the sex. His filmmaking skills are second to none in adult. You know you're in for something different from the moment the credits roll. Images and sound grab you immediately. It's also hot, often volcanically so. The subtitle is apt: "Go Ahead - Jerk Off!" It's hard not to. In a typically Lesleyan dark alley, Katja Kassin and Michael Stefano eye each other and are soon having passionate anal sex, accompanied by realistic natural sounds - traffic, helicopters. Other scenes have the same kind of moodily mysterious framing. A redhead in a long red dress gives up her passport to two surly men. There are whispered conversations in a foreign tongue. European mafia? Steve Holmes, in a cage, is teased by Miss Arroyo. Released, he fucks her and Malitia, dressed as a cop. Kinky sex games? Reality? Whatever, the odd details create a skewed erotic universe in which passion waits to erupt. This is the UK R18 version, but is still full hardcore.
